🎂 Five Age-Rated Card Decks
Pick the deck that fits your group. Each age group has unique Green Apple adjective cards and Red Apple noun cards written specifically for that audience.
Each deck has 20 unique adjective cards and 40 noun cards. Adult XXX is locked behind an age-confirmation gate. All decks shuffle and recycle automatically so games go as long as you want.

Human Player
Pass the device around the table. A privacy blocker screen prevents peeking between turns. Classic Apples to Apples fun.
Robot Player
100% offline word-association bot. No internet needed. The Robot scores each card using a built-in association table and picks instantly.
AI Player (Cloud)
Uses the free Pollinations AI cloud service — no API key needed. The AI reads your cards and picks the funniest or best fit. Optional OpenAI key for smarter responses.

🍏 How to Play
- 1 Setup — Choose an age group, add 2–8 players (Human / Robot / AI), pick a judge style, and set the win score.
- 2 Draw — The Judge draws a Green Apple adjective card (e.g. "Chaotic"). Everyone sees it.
- 3 Play — Each non-judge player (or AI/Robot) secretly plays one Red Apple noun card from their 7-card hand — the one they think best matches the adjective.
- 4 Judge — The Judge flips all submitted cards and picks their favourite. That player wins the Green Apple card as a point.
- 5 Win — First player to collect the target number of Green Apple points (4–8, your choice) wins the game!
🔔 Push Notifications
The game includes an optional push-notification tab powered by OneSignal (free tier). Push notifications are already configured for MrTsComputers.com — players can subscribe to receive updates about new features and card packs directly to their browser. The OneSignalSDKWorker.js service-worker file is hosted at the root of this domain.

❓ FAQ
- Does it work offline?
- The core game, Robot players, and Robot judge all work 100% offline. AI players and AI judge need an internet connection to reach Pollinations AI. The card decks are built into the HTML file.
- Do I need an API key?
- No. The game uses the free Pollinations AI service which requires no key. You can optionally enter an OpenAI API key on the setup screen for smarter AI responses.
- How many players can play?
- 2 to 8 players. Any combination of Human, Robot, and AI player types. You can even play solo by setting all players to Robot or AI.
- Can I customise the cards?
- Not yet via a UI — but the card decks are plain JavaScript arrays inside the HTML file, so a text editor is all you need to add your own cards. The AI suggestion feature also generates 8 custom card ideas per session.
- Is it safe for kids?
- Yes — select Young Child, Tween, or Teen decks. The Adult XXX deck is locked behind an explicit age-confirmation gate that must be tapped to unlock.
