Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc. Go to the "Performance" tab. Is CPU, RAM, or Disk at 100%? That tells you where the bottleneck is.
In Task Manager β Startup tab. Disable anything you don't need launching at boot. Too many startup items is the #1 cause of slow boot times.
Run Malwarebytes Free (see Downloads). Malware is a common cause of CPU/RAM spikes and slow performance.
